Facebook’s Page layout has changed again!

Facebook has rolled out some exciting new changes to Page layout.

Introducing templates with default Tabs, it is now easier for Pages to choose which Tabs are displayed.

Seven template options, including options for Professional Services, Venues and Shopping, include variants of the following Tabs:

  • Home
  • Posts
  • Videos
  • Photos
  • About
  • Likes
  • Events
  • Shop
  • Services

Pages can add in Tabs to suit their needs and turn off those that are not required.

The recently introduced Services and Shops Tabs get a boost and we would advise all Pages to at the very least consider content for their Services section. It’s clear from this latest move that Facebook is continuing to push f-commerce (we predict that 2017 will finally be a breakthrough year for brands selling products directly from their Facebook Pages and bypassing their traditional e-commerce stores).

The Services option is yet another indicator that a comprehensive Facebook Page is possible to do the work of a company website with the option for businesses to list different areas of specialism in the newish Services section. Here’s how we’ve laid it out on The Digiterati’s Facebook Page:

Our resident Facebook Pro, Marie Page, gives you the lowdown on the new Page layout in our brand new Masterclass Fast Track the New Facebook Page Layout.

As a bonus we go into detail about how to use the Services tab and introduce you to selling on Facebook using the Shop feature.

If you want to explore what’s new without watching the Masterclass, locate the “Manage Tabs” link in the left hand nav of your Facebook Page and go from there.
