Free Webinar: Moving your activity classes online #StayInWorkOut

In the past week personal trainers, yoga and Pilates teachers, football coaches, karate classes and even after school maths teachers have faced the choice of transferring classes online or losing vital income.

And it is not just the training providers who are suffering, for many participants, activity classes can be a highlight of the week – essential for both physical and mental health.

For many activity providers the experience has resulted in a huge shift in focus, decision-taking and subsequent rapid upskilling to learn how to use new software and figure out how to teach in an online setting. And that is before the challenge of teaching their students how to navigate their way around an online platform rather than a gym or sports hall.

As a yoga teacher and digital marketer with years of online teaching experience I’ve been uniquely positioned to support activity teachers in transferring their classes online. And I’ve certainly had a busy couple of weeks supporting people and also putting together resource summaries and a new training module.

I’m delighted to announce that we are working with London Sport to put on a free webinar, Moving Your Activity Classes Online, for sports and well-being providers on Thursday 2 April at 2pm. With the support of Sport England, London Councils and the Mayor of London, London Sport was created to help physical activity and sport to work better in London

I will share my top tips for transferring your face-to-face classes to an online setting and will examine the choice of platforms available.

My colleague (and esteemed technical marketer, Carlton Jefferis, and the team from Sport London will also be available for Q&A at the end of the webinar session.

Attendance is limited to 100 participants, so book now to secure your place.
